Whilst in Iceland, I visited the site of the DC3 plane wreck at Sólheimasandur. The combination of the black sand and cloudy day gave a somewhat eeire feeling to the plane. The barrenness of the area, with the plane wreckage being the only thing in sight, made for some great photography.
The flat colours lent particularly well to being in greyscale - to date I think this is the only set of photos I’ve edited in black and white.
